Welcome
Welcome to my imaginary world — a place where history, aviation, and railways come together in miniature.
Step into Altınkent and İncirovası, two fictional locations set in the beautiful Aegean region of Turkey. Inspired by real landscapes, cultural heritage, and transportation history, this model world brings together decades of development, technology, and imagination.
✈ İncirovası Airfield
Originally established during the Ottoman era as a military airfield, İncirovası Airfield has witnessed aviation evolve over generations. While the Air Force had left the airfield in the past, to make room for more passenger flights. At the start of the new millennium, Turkish Air Force returned, making İncirovası home once again to military jets — along with the government’s VIP fleet.

Civilian flights began in 1933, connecting this growing town to İstanbul and Ankara. In the early 1970s, the airport expanded with a modern terminal and upgraded apron facilities, allowing the arrival of wide-body aircraft and opening doors to domestic and European destinations. A major transformation followed in the 2010s, with a new terminal, dedicated cargo facilities, and a maintenance center.

🚆 Railways Through Time
Transportation in this world isn’t only about the skies. Since the Ottoman period, a historic rail line has connected İzmir with Altınkent, İncirovası, Aydın, and Denizli. Key stations, including Altınkent, Mirza Giray, and İncirovası, stand as proud symbols of the region’s long-standing railway heritage, blending tradition with modern railway operations. In İncirovası, a maintenance facility originally built for steam locomotives now serves a fleet of around ten diesel locomotives, preserving the legacy of the past while supporting modern rail services.

This website is a journey through my model-building passion — where fictional history meets creative detail, and every scene tells a story. But remember, Rome wasn’t build in one day, so expect some construction work here also… The most important part is: enjoy exploring Altınkent and İncirovası!
